Paul holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry from University of Munich, Germany (LMU). Having previously worked in Innate Immunity (Hornung lab, LMU) and Immunotechnology (Roche Diagnostics), Paul joined the Sharpe lab in 2022 to conduct his Master's thesis on negative regulators of CD8 T cell tumor immunity. After completing his degree he returned as Research Associate in late 2023. His projects in the CHIME lab include investigating further negative regulators of CD4/CD8 T cells and cytokine signaling in tumor immunity. When he's not in the lab, Paul enjoys weight lifting, sailing, and reading.
