Lauren Milling earned her Ph.D. in Biological Engineering from MIT under the mentorship of Darrell Irvine. Her thesis work focused on intratumoral administration of innate immune agonists for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer as well as designing materials strategies to improve the safety of such therapeutics. In the Sharpe lab, Lauren is a research scientist on the CHIME project performing in vivo T cell screens to identify novel regulators of anti-tumor immunity. Outside of lab, Lauren enjoys cooking, hiking, and dreaming about all the dogs and cats she could own.
