Postdoctoral fellow
Dillon Patterson
Dillon previously studied the role of a transcription factor (IRF4) during the initial stages of B cell differentiation in the laboratory of Dr. Jeremy Boss at Emory University. After completing his PhD in the summer of 2021, he departed Atlanta for Boston to join the Sharpe lab. His work focused on better understanding PD-1 signaling and its impact on tumor control versus autoimmunity and the epigenetic mechanisms involved in the programming and maintenance of T cell exhaustion. Outside of lab, Dillon enjoys watching Atlanta Braves baseball, traveling, trying new restaurants, spending time with family, and being on the water.
