Thao Nguyen graduated from Northeastern University where she studied the effect of hypoxia and the A2AR pathway on T cells in cancer at the Sitkovsky Lab. During her time in Sharpe Lab as a research technician, Thao worked closely with Marty LaFleur on genetic engineering of immune populations in the context of autoimmunity and cancer. Thao rejoined the Sharpe Lab in 2022 as a graduate student in the HMS Immunology program. In her free time, Thao likes to go on hikes that she later complains about, camping, and exploring the next big donut place on the East coast.
