Mei-An graduated from Northeastern University in 2020 with a bachelor’s in Behavioral Neuroscience. At Northeastern, she completed co-ops with different Boston-area biopharmaceutical companies, eventually landing in an immuno-oncology group. In the Sharpe Lab, she studied stromal cell/myeloid cell interactions and their effects on myeloid cell differentiation and development. She also investigated the functions of co-stimululatory molecules in the intestinal immune response in the context of inflammatory disease.
