Matt attended UConn for his bachelors and master's degree in molecular and cell biology.  He is interested in pursuing research leading to the discovery and development of novel therapies. He primarily worked alongside Marty to identify and manipulate important CD8+ T-cell genes to combat tumors, viral infections, and autoimmunity.
