Jefte Drijvers studied medicine in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, before moving to Boston to study the pathogenesis of IgG4-related disease in Shiv Pillai's lab at Massachusetts General Hospital. Jefte then joined the Immunology program at Harvard Medical School, where his graduate work focused on metabolic regulation of T cell functionality under the mentorship of Arlene Sharpe and Marcia Haigis. In his free time, Jefte enjoys sports (either to do or to watch), outdoor activities and traveling.
