Haonan completed a DPhil in Oncology from University of Oxford under the mentorship of Fadi Issa. His thesis project focused on characterizing a single nucleotide polymorphism in the Hippo Signaling Pathway and its effect on regulatory T cells. In the Sharpe-CHIME lab, Haonan is working on the tumor immunity target discovery through in vivo T cell screens. Outside the lab, Haonan spends his time traveling, trying new food, and hoping Arsenal wins the title.
