Emily was a chemical biology graduate student who previously investigated the small-molecule inhibition of deubiquitinating enzymes in cancer in the D'Andrea Lab at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. In the Sharpe Lab, Emily studied signaling pathways driven by coinhibitory receptors and their respective ligands for rational therapeutic intervention in cancer.
