Dan (Vivian) Liang obtained her Ph.D. from Baylor College of Medicine where she worked in the laboratory of William Decker. Her thesis work focused on the regulation of T helper 1 immunity by dendritic cells in vaccine models of melanoma among others. Now she is interested in the contribution of different co-inhibitory molecules in fine-tuning T-cell immune responses in both autoimmune disease and cancer. Vivian joined Sharpe lab in March 2018 and is trying her best to adapt to cold weather and explore good old Boston.
